Tires: low profile tires and bubbles, low profile tires, clk 500

My husband has an '06 Mercedes CLK 500. After just a few thousand miles he discovered a bubble on the front tire.  Since then we have replace six tires due to this problem.  Is it normal for this to keep happening?  My husband never replaced a tire on his old CLK 320..except for tread wear.  He doesn't drive on the moon....but the dealer keeps claiming its his driving.. Could you tell me if one brand is better than another when it comes to bubbles.  Pirelli is definetly going to be removed from our list!  Thanks!!

Low profile tires are more prone to impact damage.  The solution is to use inflation pressure - and, of course, since tires leak down, to check them more often - like once a month.

This is a problem for all low profile tires and is not confined to a single brand.
