Question
I have a flat on my passenger side rear tire and when i went to change it i could not get the tire off. i had all lug nuts off and still nothing my rim would not depart from my car as if it was welded on. i know it is something very simple im missing but i couldnt figure it out please help

Answer
Joshua,

It is pretty comon for alloy wheels to corrode to the hub, so you haven't missed anything, but you'll need to apply some WD40 to the mating surfaces to help dissolve the corrosion and some anitseize to the mating surface once the rim is off.  Be careful to avoid getting either of these substances on the brakes pads or rotors.

You may be tempted to strike the wheel or the tire.  Don't, as you could damage both.  Another option is to put the lug nuts back on but just a bit away from seating and drive about 50 feet back and forth until it comes loose, but this might damage the tire by running it flat.

Hope this helps.
