Tires: TPMS, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic co ltd

Hi Barry,

This question may be completely out of your knowledge base, but I would like to try anyway.

We are Orange-Electronic Co., Ltd. located in Taiwan.  I am from the US and helping the manufacture here get sales in North America.  Unfortuantely in the Automotive industry especially, it is not what you know but who you know.  And being one of the new guys on the block it makes things more difficult.

What I would like to know is if you have any connections to the wire or wheel manufacturers or distributors in North America that would be interested in a tire pressure monitoring system?  We have done our homework and all the other brands out there fail in comparison to what we have. We have some distribution, but of course are looking to expand it.  This product, as you may already know, is going to be mandatory on all new cars in the US in 2007. We are not interested in entering at the OE level at this time.

Any assistance you could provide would be greatly apprecaited.

Since you are not interested in entering the OE market at this time, you're trying to walk with only one leg.

No, I don't have connections, and I suggest your company get an OE fitment on one of the emerging Asian vehicle manufacturers.  I think this is key to convincing folks here that the product is suitable and not just one of those "get rich quick" schemes.

Another possibility is a trailer manufacturer.
