Tires: Spare tire size, 16 inch rims, 15 inch rims

Question
I recently upgraded the tires on my 2004 toyota camry to 16 inch rims, tire size 215/60.  My spare tire is a full size for the original size tires which was 205/65 15 inch rims.  Will it be a problem if I had to put on the spare and run it with the other 16" rim/tires?  should I upgrade the spare tire to be the same size, or not worry about it?

thanks,

Answer
The key to the answer is 2 items:

1)  Did you change the outside diameter of the tire?  (The answer is no!)

2)  Did you change the brake setup.  If the answer is no, then the spare will fit on the vehicle and it won't cause any problems to the drivetrain (the diameter question).

I would not recommend you use the spare for anything else, except a spare, because the car is going to handle a bit funny with the odd tire.

And remember that tires don't last forever - some folks say 6 years, some say 10 years - seems to depend on how hot it is where you live.
