Tires: Load Range F tires, 16 wheels, lt245

Question
I have a 2500HD truck which has a 245/ 75/16 load range E tires.

I have read that there is a Giant R23 load range F tire, cant find it anywhere.
Someone mentioned a Toyo having load range F tire.

Where can I find some locally or online where I can purchase these for my rimms.  Thank you.

Answer
There's a lot in your question that just doesn't add up.

First is that I can't find any reference of a Load Range F in an LT245/75R16.  Even the standards book doesn't have it, which means someone would have to invent it themselves - a very unlikely prospect.  Besides a Load Range F would be a 95 psi tire, and I'll bet there aren't any 16" wheels that will take this kind of pressure and still fit a 2500!

Second, the only reference I can find R23 is for a Merit tire.  It came in a couple of different sizes, including LT245/75R16, but it was listed as a LR E.  (BTW there was a listing for an 8-19.5 Load Range F.  May be that's where the confusing is coming from.)

But the obvious question is:  Why would you be interested in a Load Range F?  Why not a larger size?

Hope this helps.
