Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: Thanks, sgt brown, bsnc

Question
Pat,
Just a note of thanks for your efforts.  I attended the BikeSafeNC that rainy day in March that you were there participating - observing.  I am assuming you were there for reasons of finding additional methods that help the rider community.  Thanks for your efforts in that as well as what seems to have become a career for you.  Also, it was a nice touch to give the motor officers the gift of your book.  I was the one that was staying late to talk with Mark (Sgt Brown).  If you are this way again and need something,  you only have to ask and I will see what I can do to offer any assistance, hospitality, and/or information

Answer
Wow, thanks very much for the kind words.

Mark is a hard worker and a true asset to the motorcycle community, for sure. I was in town for a photo shoot for a new book, Mark invited me to "sunny" North Carolina for the shoot. Who'd have thought it'd be 45 and raining all weekend ... when in Minnesota it was 50s and sunny, in March! Ha ha.

I learned a lot from BSNC and hope to put some of it to work here in the great white north.

Keep thinking hard like you do, and I'll see you on a good road some time.

Pat
