i let go of the clutch and start button once my engine is going steady.

Answer
Hello,

This can be several problems or a user error. The first thing i would try is giving it some gas when u let off the clutch, that way its getting gas mixture along with allowing the engine to warm up. Another problem may be the carburetor idle speed. Try tuning it, in which your manual can tell you how it works with more details on how much to turn. If you get the idle speed up it usually can idle it good. Let me know if this doesnt work and I will help you troubleshoot more. Thank you
