I can understand why dealers did not want to get involved because every country differ with import rules, the process is 3 stages - Buying - shipping - import regulations, I don't know how far you have looked into the matter, but here is how I would approach.

Your best choices are autotrader.com and autotrader.ca there are plenty to choose from, however you must choose a zip code or postal code from anywhere in the US or Canada and you will get many 300C to choose from.
