Used Cars: 24 hours to return a used car, oil sludge, chryslers

Question
I bought a used car yesterday at 2:30pm, I did buy it as is but found out the heater is bad and that 2003 Sebring Chryslers are known to have oil sludge in the engine.   All the signs that the engine is bad are happening to the car.  Can I return the car, get back my deposit, as long as I do it in 24 hours.  What's the State law on this?

Answer
Elisabeth,
I am not going to tell you for sure that you can do this, you really need to check with your local state laws, however, I will tell you that the earlier you try to do this, the better chance you have.  Just dont let them delay you in doing so, a lot of time if they can get the title in your hand quickly, and before 30 days, they cover their end of things legally.
But if you have yet to get the title, and it is within 24 hours, I would think you have a pretty good chance of doing this.  Just raise as much hell as you can, as quickly as you can, and try to find out what the laws are in your particular state.
