Used Cars: used car purchase, bmw 1 series, factory incentives

Which car is a better choice, a 2008 BMW 1 Series Convertible (used) or a 2002 Porsche Boxter Convertible? Both get the same MPG.

There are those who like Beamers and those who like Porsche, they are both good choices but what suits your lifestyle and the way the vehicle handle may not suit someone else.

Several facts to consider.
(1) The 08 has got plenty of warranty and my guess is the 02 has got none or an extended warranty available ? Should there be issues with the 02 it can be quite heavy on the pocketbook, while you got no fear with the 08 for a few years.

(2) Are there factory incentives if your financing or rebate for cash on the 08, compared to none for the 02.

(3) Condition -  miles - history - and price are factors that also come into play.Is there a links to view the Porsche and BMW ?

PS... Sorry I just re-read your question that the BMW is used, disregard # 2 answer - which now makes me ask is the 08 a former rental ?
