Used Cars: Alfa romeo or swift ?, alfa romeo 147, alfa romeo

Hi Danny. So here is my problem. My parents want to buy a car for me and we searched for too long and came with 2 cars. The one is Suzuki Swift with everything on it. Full accesories etc. Pretty good car. But the other one is Alfa Romeo 147 with  also full accesories and 17 inch tyres everything included, but 4 years old and only 25000km passed. It has been driven by a girl that really takes good care of her cars. Now many people tell me Alfa is really bad on fuel etc. so i needed to know what do you think about it. Suzuki swift (new) or Alfa Romeo 147 (4 years old) ?

The Alfa is a cooler car yes but they do not have the track record like a new Suzuki. Anytime you can have new over a used take it, less headaches. The Suzuki will out perform the Alfa in gas mileage and maint requirements by far. If you have deep pockets and can afford to keep up the Alfa then get it.  I always ask the question when is something more likely to break down the first half or second half and it sounds like he Alfa is in it's second half.Hope this helps.
