Trucking: getting a job, dac report, luck jim

Question
I have had my CDL-A for years and recently worked for a company for 6 months and then they fired me and about 200 other drivers. They put on my DAC report that I was fired because I violated company policy and now no other company will hire me even though I have a spotless MVR, etc.

What can I do to get another driving job? Who will hire me with the bad rap that the past company has given me? What company will take me with only 6 months OTR experience and 9 months yard work and a very bad reference from my last company?

Answer
Tamma, my best advise is to be upfront with any prospective employer.  You don't state what the policy is that you supposedly violated.  If it's something major you have a problem.  If it's trivial and you tell them up front it's better than letting them think you are hiding something.
Best of luck.
Jim.
