Trucking: Starting Corporation, new trucks, bobtails

Dear Israel,
I am an owner operator for a major trucking company. They offered me an account if I became incorporated and will cover the permits and licenses. All I need is to purchase the bobtails. Do you know how I could get these bobtails financed after registering as a corporation?

I can't help much I'm afraid. If I understand correctly, the company you're leased with now has offered you an account. All you have to do is provide the trucks to pull their trailers. You can try a couple of things, go to a bank for a business loan or go to a dealership. A dealership like Kenworth can sell or lease you as many trucks as you need. Freightliner has their select line of remanufactured trucks if you don't want new trucks. When you get incorporated, take a copy of the lease agree with you to the bank and truck dealers. I hope this is some help, I'm more safety oriented.
