Trucking: Career Change, changing careers, driving experience

I am thinking about changing careers.  OTR trucking keeps
popping into my head. What can I expect?  Is it feasible for a
woman to do this job?  What is it like?

Truck Driving is definitely a good career for a woman if you are suited to the irregular hours and other working conditions.  Check this article:

There is a shortage of qualified truck drivers so if you are qualified you can choose the type of work that suites you.  In general local work that gets you home every day will pay less than long haul over the road wher you might not get home for weeks at a time.  There are plenty of opportunities in all segments and the more safe driving experience you rack up the more choices you will have.  Good luck.
