Trucking: how to become a trucking broker, truck brokerage, google search

 I am interested in becoming a truck broker handling freight in the US. How would I start.

Depends on your current industry knowledge and network of contacts.  Start by checking out the industry association:

There is also lots of private training available.  Do a google search on; start truck brokerage, and you find many.  I have no experience with any of them so I would get references before sending them any money.  There are also a few books out on the subject. Entrepreneur.com has a start up guide:

The best advice is find a broker to work for and see if you like it.  Build a following and then start your own.  You may have to sign a non-compete so be careful.
