Truck Repair: cummins N14 celect, cummins n14, fuel injection system

My Cummins MN truck would not start until a WD40 spray is sprayed in the air cleaner hose for a boost before it will start and this process is done all times before it would start. Moreover when it starts the check engine light comes on and sometimes when you accelerates it decelerates.

When you frequently use start aid, this indicates that you need to check your fuel injection system. In this case you need to;
1. Check the fuel pump for wear. It is better to replace with new one.
2. recheck the injector travel adjustment,
3. Replace fuel filter and check the air filter.
when the check engine light comes on, it must be accompanied with s flash code to indicate the exact problem enconuntered by the ECM.
Visit a Cummins shop for a proper diabnostics with "insite" software.
