Truck Repair: N14 LOW OIL PRESSURE, low oil pressure, suction tube
QuestionI have had the same problem as the other person with the International. I have a 1997 freightliner I changed the Oil Pump and sensors do you know what was the problem with the other guys Truck.
Answer I would take the regulator out & clean the regulator plunger.If that does not help then check the oil pump by removing the suction tube & getting some on to turn engine with a ratchet while trying to hold the gears in the pump.If it turns then pump gear is slipping on shaft & time for a new pump.But do all that after putting manual gauge on it first.
