Truck Repair: 89 F-350 w/ 7.3 diesel, injector pump, f 350

i have a 7.3 in which yesterday I started up and 20 sec. later it shut off.  now it takes a few times cranking it and then it will start up again for about 15 secs. and shut off again.  ive got fuel to the filter and to the injection pump... but only a dribble out of the line at the injector... is this an injection pump failure?

Maybe, but it may also be air trapped in the system.
Are you sure the transfer pump is keeping the injector pump plenty full?
Is there voltage to the cutoff solenoid when it dies? It is possible the solenoid is bad and just shutting it off. Or the wire is about broken in two.
