I have a 1994 Chevy S10 4x4 blazer, 4.3 vortec, it will crank but still needs a jump to actually start?

Answer
If the jump makes it crank faster, then your battery may be worn out, or the battery connections may just be dirty.
A dragging starter is also a possibility.
Most parts stores will do a draw test for the starter and battery without removing anything from the vehicle, and can really help narrow down the problem.
