Truck Repair: L10 injector adjustment, torque wrench, tappet

Question
My L10 is an 87 300hp, I need to set the injectors as I changed the head and I found the procedure in a Motor Manual. It tells me every thing except what the travel is for the injector, all it says is set the plunger travel to specifcations. Please help as soon as possible..... Jim

Answer
On the manual injectors(NOT STC) the lash setting is "ZERO LASH".There is a special tool you buy from Cummins that cost around $40 that is a "T" torque wrench that is preset to 5-6 inlbs.Just need that and a 1/4" drive screwdriver bit.
On the STC engines you adjust the overhead the same except you need another Cummins special tool for the STC tappet.
