Truck Repair: injector pump, pop gear, oil level

Question
Have a 6c cummins 8.3l.engine getting oil level high appears to be fuel not water.  Changed primer pump still rising.  Injector pump coming off next.  Question is there a basic test to check the pump leakage that I can do? Is there a manual to install the pump & set timing?  If so where can I get this?

If it is an automotive 8.3 you just loosen fuel pump drive gear nut,turn engine on TDC,take timing plug out of fuel pump & turn it around to lock pump in place.Pop gear loose on pump & remove mounting nuts,brace bolts & slide it out.The only way to check the injetion pump is with dye in the fuel.Run it & blacke light the front behind drive gear.
