Truck Repair: Flooded dodge diesel, hurricane katrina, dodge diesel

In leaving Hurricane Katrina, I had to leave my Dodge 2500 4x4 turbo diesel in New Orleans.

I imagine it got some water or possibly totally flooded.  What should I do to try to recoupe the truck when I can get back in to New Orleans?

Depending on the water level,maybe just change the oil in axles,trans & engine.If it is a 91 or newer,take intake hose off at intake connection & pipe from charge air cooler & run it blow the water out.Replace air cleaner element.Just really depends on how high water got on the truck.
