Vintage Cars: Seats, bmw seats, bolt pattern

1976 450 SL LOVE the car hate the seats. looking for a higher back seat, was wondering if the seats from other Mercedes will fit in her thanks in advance

haha , hear ya, my wife hates all the seats in my MB's
The SL's have the basic four bolt pattern however they tend to be a bit more narrow  than most  MB sedan models.  I have heard of people retrofitting BMW seats and Jag seats because they fit.  I have never done it.  MB seats are firm , and not the most comfortable - that is just the rule

Your best bet is to measure seat rails side to side and placement of bolts, and see what yo ucan find.   You could always drill new holes for seat rails , the floor pan is pretty easy to get through.
