QuestionQUESTION: Ron, my turn signals and brake lights don't work on my 450 SL. I replace all the blubs and still don't work. Headlights and rear lights are fine. Any suggestions? ThaNKS, gEORGE
ANSWER: you may have a short or a blown fuse(s), look at fuse box and test the appropriate fuse
did this happen all of a sudden?
Also check to make sure your hazzard switch works, and is not stuck, this is sometimes the isue

QUESTION: Ron, thanks for your help. The hazard switch does work. I replaced #13 fuse (8 Amp) and still no break lights or directionals. I don't know what else I might try. Also I don't have a owners manual so I don't have a fuse scheme. Do you know how I mighr get one? Do you know what amp for #1 & #2. THe problem with the lights did come on all of sudden. have you cleaned the hazzard switch, they may work, but the conectors may be corroded that go to the back up lights, pull it out an clean it , if that does not help -
use a volt meter and see that you are getting 12V on the outlet side of the fuse (8) you will need to have your key to acc or car running to check. if you have 12v there your issue is most likely a ground ,if you do not have power there, replace fuse again , test again and if it is still a no go , then go to each light source and check for 12 V - then email me back
