Vintage Cars: Triumph 1800, london motor show, theresa kingsley

Question
Could you please tell me how much approximately a Triumph 1800 Saloon 1947, Black with Beige trim would sell for at the moment. Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards
Theresa Kingsley

Answer
Quite a gem depending on condition.  The  cars that initially sported the Triumph nameplate were the razor-edge 1800 saloon and roadster. The Triumph 1800 was launched at the London Motor Show in 1947. It was designed to use the SS Jaguar engine. The car never really took off as its price was higher than the Jaguar 120, and the design was old fashioned by post war standards and the performance was no better than an average family car.
The model struggled on for four more years, and then was dropped. The Triumph marquee sold to another company who created the now famous TR series.
Performance
Top Speed 80 mph | 128.7 km/h Similar top speeds
Nearly 4000 were made

That all said they are collectable in the right market. You really have not given me enough information, is it running, rust , how is the interior? History, word worthy or a fixer upper?
A concours level 47 Roadster  just sold for $60,000
The Saloons do not demand as much and in excellent condition have been listed for 12-15 thousand $
Good Luck
Happy Motoring
