Vintage Cars: frame for 62 laurentian, pontiac oakland club, canadian pontiac

Question
im needing a frame for my 62 laurentian.  are there any other cars i could take the frame from to use??

Answer
I am not an expert at Canadian Pontiacs, but one site I visited had the Laurentian looking like it had the body of a Catalina or Bonneville.

The Canadian Pontiacs of this vintage used Chevrolet drive trains, but I don't know if they used Chevrolet frames.

There is a good chance both would fit, but they will be different in metal thickness and weight.

I recommend you join the Pontiac Oakland Club International and contact their expert on the early 60's cars, and they may even have a Canadian Pontiac expert.

the cost of a membership is minimal and the magazine is great.  Well worth it.

The web site has listings of chapter directors and others, you may be able to contact someone right away, but join up anyway.
