The sun visor on your Lexus RX-300 is invaluable for keeping the sun out of your eyes while you are driving. However, if your visor becomes loose, it may not stay in position and can be more of a distraction than a help. The sun visor on your Lexus is not difficult to fix if it becomes loose. The only tool you will need is a Phillips-head screwdriver. The repair time is approximately five minutes.
Open the door on the side of your Lexus that the sun visor is loose on and sit in that seat.
Examine the Visor assembly. The assembly is a base with a swivel joint where your visor is attached. On the side opposite that is a plastic latch that your visor clips into when it is extended outward. The side with the swivel end is the side that most often comes loose.
Insert the screwdriver into the screw holding the visor assembly in place and turn it clockwise to tighten it.
