How to Install a Car Stereo in a Chevy Cavalier

When you replace the audio unit on your 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, the new unit needs to be programmed with the car's vehicle identification number. If it isn't programmed to the car, the radio displays "Loc" or "Calibrate" until the programming is initiated using the "Special Functions" menu of a scan tool.
