Honda is a Japanese manufacturer that produces a range of products, from off-road ATVs to automobiles. Most modern Honda vehicles have a factory installed anti-theft alarm system that goes off if the door unlocks without the use of the remote transmitter or key. This alarm can continue sounding for several minutes and can be frustrating if you do not know how to clear it. There are two different ways to clear the alarm on your vehicle.
Press the "Unlock" button on the remote transmitter to unlock the vehicle.
Open the driver's door.
Place the key in the ignition and turn it to the "II" position.
Place the key in the driver's side door lock.
Turn the key left to unlock the door.
Open the door and place the key in the ignition.
Switch the key to the "II" position.
