The MTX Thunder 4000 is a series of subwoofers manufactured by American Mitek Corp. and marketed under the MTX banner. The 4000 series subwoofers come in 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch models. All of the 4000 series subwoofers feature the Asymmetrical Linear Drive System, which improves audio quality.
The MTX Thunder 4000 series features one 8-inch model, the T484. The T484 has a 4 Ohm impedance, 43Hz to 150Hz frequency response, 100/200 power handling (RMS/Total), 87.5dB sensitivity, 1-inch voice coil, 20 oz. magnet and 3 1/2-inch mounting depth.
The MTX Thunder 4000 series incorporates three 10-inch models, the T4104, T4108 and T41012.
The T4104 has a 4 Ohm impedance, 39Hz to 150Hz frequency response, 200/400 power handling (RMS/Total), 88.0dB sensitivity, 1 1/2-inch voice coil, 25 oz. magnet and 4 13/16-inch mounting depth.
The T4108 has an 8 Ohm impedance, 40Hz to 150Hz frequency response, 200/400 power handling (RMS/Total), 88.1dB sensitivity, 1 1/2-inch voice coil, 25 oz. magnet and 4 7/8-inch mounting depth.
The T41012 has a 12 Ohm impedance, 40Hz to 150Hz frequency response, 200/400 power handling (RMS/Total), 87.8dB sensitivity, 1 1/2-inch voice coil, 25 oz. magnet and 4 7/8-inch mounting depth.
The MTX Thunder 4000 series has two 12 inch models, the T4124 and T4128.
The T4124 has a 4 Ohm impedance, 29Hz to 150Hz frequency response, 200/400 power handling (RMS/Total), 89.8dB sensitivity, 1 1/2-inch voice coil, 28 oz. magnet and 5 7/16-inch mounting depth.
