The Honda CR-V is among the many Honda vehicles that is equipped with keyless entry capabilities. This technology allows you to control your safety and convenience features, and you can program the locks feature on the remote yourself. This programming sequence will allow you to lock or unlock the vehicle's doors with just a push of a button.
Enter the car, and turn your key in the ignition to the "On" position.
Press the lock or unlock button on your remote, and then return the key to the "Off" position.
Turn the key "On," press the button on your remote, and then cycle it back "Off" two more times, for a total of three cycles.
Turn the ignition back "On" after the third cycle, and press the lock or unlock button on your remote.
Wait for the locks to cycle, and the programming will be completed. You can then remove the key from the ignition.
