  • Have the seats reupholstered with leather or a different type of fabric than what is original to the car. Leather and other fabrics are available in a wide range of colors and textures and quickly change the look of the interior of a car. Matching floor mats and headliner can be made to coordinate the colors and materials. Carpets that fit your exact car also can be ordered in bright colors to change the interior look of the car.

  • Paint some of the plastic pieces of the car to change the look dramatically. Sand the plastic parts with 400-grit sandpaper and then use spray paint to paint them. The dash, center console and parts of the door panel can be painted.
