As tires age, they take on a dusty, dirty appearance even when cleaned. Even old tires will look black, shiny and new when wet or treated with a tire shine formula. There are many tire shine products on the market, all of which are relatively easy to use and inexpensive as well. All you need is a brush, a cloth, and a little time, and soon you'll have shiny, wet-looking tires.
Clean tire as you would normally. Use a bristle brush to remove any excessive dirt and debris. Rinse with water and allow to air dry.
Shake the spray bottle of tire shine before using it.
Spray tire shine formula onto tire until it's soaked. Allow the formula to sit for four or five minutes.
With a soft cloth, wipe off the excess shine spray. Rub the formula into the tire rubber's nooks and crannies.
Repeat. Spray on tire shine and wipe away the excess, making sure to rub it in again.
Spray one last time with tire shine formula so that the section of the tire facing outward look wet. If the tire is dripping, use the cloth to soak up the excessively wet spots.
