How to Clean Cloth Seats in a Jeep

A Jeep probably sees more wear and tear than most vehicles because their owners tend to use their vehicles to go off-roading and get dirty. As a result, cleaning the cloth seats in a Jeep can get pretty dirty, and getting them clean may be a bit more difficult, but with the right products and some elbow grease, you can get the seats clean in about 30 minutes each.

Things You'll Need

  • Wet/dry vacuum
  • Spray upholstery cleaner
  • Upholstery brush
  • Terrycloth towel
  • Open the door and vacuum out the seats of the Jeep to remove loose sediment and prepare the upholstery for cleaning.

  • Spray the upholstery cleaner on the cloth surface of the seats and scrub them with the upholstery brush.

  • Wipe up any excess upholstery cleaner using the terrycloth towel, then vacuum the seats to ensure all of the loose dirt and grime is gone.

  • Open the car windows and allow the interior to air out for 2 to 4 hours.
