Jeep first introduced the Commander model in 2006. Since the model's introduction, a navigation system has been available as a factory installed option. Locate the DVD navigation slot cover imprinted with the words "Navigation System," located under the navigation screen.
Locate the release latch for the cover located in the upper left corner.
Depress the release latch. If you experience difficulties releasing the latch try using a small paperclip.
Pull the cover outwards, exposing the DVD navigation slot and eject button.
