Headlamps on a vehicle are important safety components to drivers. Headlamp bulbs burn out, just like regular light bulbs. When headlamps on a Suzuki Forenza burn out or malfunction, they need to be replaced. Headlight bulb replacement can be done just about anywhere as long as you have replacement bulbs.

Things You'll Need

  • H1 replacement bulb (high beam)
  • H7 replacement bulb (low-beam)
  • Open the hood and prop if necessary.

  • Unscrew the two bolts and one nut securing the headlamp housing in place using a socket or crescent wrench and turning counterclockwise. Turn the headlamp cap counterclockwise to remove it

  • Disconnect the wires from the back of the bulb. Remove the spring which holds the bulb in place. Put on a pair of latex gloves. Remove the old bulb and replace it.

  • Reinstall the bulb spring and reconnect the wires to the new bulb. Reinstall the headlamp cap by turning it clockwise until it is snug.

  • Reinstall the headlamp housing by screwing in the two bolts and one nut, using a wrench. Turn the bolts and nut clockwise until they are snug. Close the hood and test the new headlamp to see if it works. Remove the latex gloves.
