The days of keeping a small sticker in the top corner of your car's windshield to remind you when your next oil change is due are nearly over, thanks to the oil-change reminder systems making their way into most modern cars. Resetting this system on your 2003 BMW 325i is as simple as pressing a button and turning the key.
Press and hold the tripmeter reset button on the left side of the instrument cluster, then turn the ignition to the "1" position. Continue holding the button for about five seconds until the odometer screen displays "Reset." At this point, the oil change interval is reset and you can release the tripmeter reset button.
