How to Reset the Oil Life Monitor in a Pontiac G6

Before the closing of Pontiac in 2010, the final G6s rolled off of the assembly line. The 2010 G6 was available with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or two different V-6 engines, the 3.5-liter and the 3.6-liter. As with most GM vehicles, the G6 was equipped with an oil life monitoring system which notifies you when an oil change is needed. Resetting the timer after an oil change is easy.
