2000 Celica GTS Tire Pressure

The 2000 model year brought about a huge change in the Toyota Celica's appearance, from a rounded body to a more angular and sporty look. The 2000 Celica came in two trim levels -- GT and GTS -- with the latter featuring a more powerful engine, a standard six-speed transmission and a set of 205/55R15 V-rated tires. As an option, buyers could move up to 16-inch wheels with V-rated 205/50R16 tires. Keeping the tires at the correct air pressure optimizes fuel economy, ride comfort and handling.

Tire Pressure

  • On both the standard and optional tire sizes, the Celica GTS requires 32 psi of air pressure in the front and rear tires. The trunk-mounted spare tire requires 60 psi of pressure. Always adjust the tire pressure when the tires are cold -- not driven on for extended distances -- as the heat causes the internal pressure to rise, leading to inaccurate readings.
