This system adds 17 hp over the stock intake and replaces the original intake assembly, including the airbox, filter and intake tube with an all-new design. Protecting the cone-shaped air filter (and isolating it from engine heat) is a nice-looking powdercoated heat shield. Air travels through a mandrel-bent aluminum tube to drive a more laminar flow of air to the car's engine to create more power and better throttle response.
