Owners of 1990-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse or Eagle Talon vehicles can take advantage of the power increases that come with a new series of cams for the popular 4G63 engine. Offered in three profiles, from mild to wild the cams feature 8620 steel billet cores to assure long-lasting dependability under the most severe operating conditions.

Crane's No. 435-0010 is designed for street applications and has stock idle characteristics. It provides a moderate increase in power, and requires high performance valve springs & retainers.

The stage 2 cam set is designed for use on cars equipped with nitrous oxide. No. 435-0012 has a lift of .424/. 404" and a 256/248 duration, and pulls strong from idle through 6800 RPM. It works great with or without the bottle, and Crane's nitrous controller (p/n 6000-9816) is recommended.

Rounding out Crane's Mitsubishi 4G63 collection is cam set part number 435-0014, which is designed for serious horsepower increases. This aggressive profile sports a rough idle, and requires a cylinder head modification (shorten valve guides). Porting the heads can provide additional benefits.

Crane also offers a series of cams for the Mitsubishi 420A engine. Detailed information on Mitsubishi cams can be found in the sport Compact section of Crane's website, www.cranecams.com.
