If our S2000 were our girlfriend, she would have broken up with us by now. We got the car sometime in 2005 and have been promising it mods and upgrades since day one. In January, we blew the thing up, which resulted in the car's first appearance in the magazine, an article showing us bringing the car back to life. Back in August, we showed the first real installment of our Berlina black AP2 project build. Skunk 2 prototyped their cams and header on the convertible and supplemented these parts with their exhaust, a Magnaflow cat and a Skunk throttle body. Unfortunately, since the cams and header were prototypes, they had to go back to Skunk to prevent any top secret information from being leaked before production time.

Project 2005 Honda S2000 Vortech Supercharger - Finally!
We were left with a stock car with an aftermarket exhaust system and throttle body. Needless to say, our little girlfriend was pretty unhappy
So now it's time to make amends and bring back the spark in our relationship with the roadster. This girlfriend isn't into flowers or candy, so we got her a blower, and since all girls like jewelry, we got her some JDM bling in the form of a Spoon Sports header. If only it was that easy with real girls.

Alex starts by pulling out the stock airbox. That filter was bright yellow when it left the factory; now it's almost black in some spots. That's a good thing right?
We turned to Vortech for the hardware and they responded with a supercharger kit for a 2000 and up S2K. We then took the car to JDM Garage in Anaheim, Calif., to have it go under the knife. In this first installment, we're going to follow as Alex "Baby" Korrs from JDM Garage walks us through the prep work necessary to install our Vortech blower.
