2014 Ford F-150 - Get Down On It
After buying a new truck everybody does something different. Some guys leave it alone and just enjoy that new truck smell. Other guys, the guys we relate to, start modifying their trucks the day they come home from the dealership. Recently, we received a call from our friends at the Custom Truck Shop in San Dimas, California. They had a customer bringing in his brand-new 2014 Ford F-150 with a laundry list of mods. Amongst the list, he wanted a better stance and some fresh wheels and tires. A call was made to the suspension specialists at DJM to order a 3/5-inch lowering kit. This kit uses new lower control arms and a flip kit in the rear to bring the Blue Oval closer to Earth. The owner wanted a black and machined look for wheels and chose a set of 22x9 Dub Phase 6 wheels with a set of Toyo Proxes STII tires in size 285/45R22.
