| As they say, every picture tells a story. Bully Dog's engine components transformed this 6.0L Power Stroke turbodiesel panel van into a tire-smokin' monster!
After introducing our '04 SEMA project vehicle, a Ford E-350 1-ton 6.0L Power Stroke turbodiesel van, in our Dec. '04 issue of Truckin', we were in search of increasing its horsepower and torque, due to the fact that it would be a multipurpose tow and show vehicle. Knowing the incredible diesel performance gain that Bully Dog Technologies components are capable of, we contacted the owners, the Klassen brothers Phillip, Michael, and Darrell, and arranged a road trip to Bully Dog Technologies in Aberdeen, Idaho. Rollin' serious break-in miles on Big E, we made our way to Bully Dog Technologies, nearly 1,325 miles northeast of SoCal. We arrived at a potato farm owned by the Klassen family, which is also home of Bully Dog Technologies.
After a quick introduction to the staff and tour of the large facility, it was time to proceed with the installation. Before a wrench was turned, we performed a couple dyno runs to establish a factory baseline to be used in a comparison after equipping the E-350 6.0L Power Stroke turbodiesel with Bully Dog performance inhibitors. Bully Dog performance products are proven to increase both horsepower, torque, and fuel mileage, which are Truckin's main objectives for making the Ford E-350 squat, grunt, and cruise.

Rapid Flow Cat-Back Exhaust SystemPart Number: 181033
The Rapid Flow Cat-Back Exhaust System is constructed from polished, 304 4-inch-diameter stainless steel. Exhaust temperatures are lowered as much as 200 degrees, due to the larger 4-inch-diameter and minimal degrees of mandrel-bent angles used throughout the exhaust system, creating less-restricted burnt gas flow, leading to greater velocity and increased horsepower.

Out-Look Adjustable Programmer/Sensor Monitoring SystemPart Number: 041063
The Out-Look Adjustable Programmer/Sensor Monitoring System is an LCD unit that mounts on the dash or windshield and simultaneously displays four engine vital signs, including turbo boost PSI, speed, pre-turbo temperature, and post-turbo temperature. It will also read ICP pressure, engine rpm, horsepower, torque, and transmission slip. Out-Look is compatible with all performance upgrades, including other brands of performance modules and downloaders. By a flip of the switch, the engine horsepower maybe increased by 25-, 50-, 75- or 100-percent horsepower. Out-Look also contains functions to recalibrate the speedometer for tire size changes, reset transmission shift points, increase the rev limiter, and remove the speed limiter on '02-and-newer vehicles. The Out-Look unit serves as a scan tool with the ability to both see and erase trouble codes.

Dominator ModulePart Number: 041065
The Dominator Module is a simple plug-and-play installation that bypasses the factory engine computer. The Bully Dog Dominator Module manages the engine's air/fuel ratio, which is increased producing a 25- to 100-percent horsepower and torque gain. When using the Dominator Module, in conjunction with the Out-Look Monitor, it will automatically de-fuel the engine when water temperature is low or high and when the exhaust temperature reaches high settings. The Dominator will remove the speed limiter and input a rev limiter.
