Rhino Shine Ultra - Face Lift

rhino Shine before   |   Before Spray-in truck bedliners have been around for years. Usually formulated from polyurethane, they offer a permanent alternative to plastic drop-in bedliners. They are virtually indestructible and often last longer than the truck does. But they all have one Achilles' heel in common: the sun. After prolonged exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays, the skid-free surface of the spray-in bedliner begins to oxidize, dulling the finish.
rhino Shine rhino Shine Ultra   |   After Owners of spray-in bedliners have battled the problem with their own home remedies, including the application of tire foam and other products such as Armor All. Unfortunately, while these products offer a temporary solution to the problem and make the bedliner nice and shiny again for a little while, they also turn a non-skid surface into a Slip 'n' Slide. A more permanent solution to the problem of oxidation was recently developed by Rhino Linings USA. The company pioneered the development of spray-in bedliners, and after years of research and testing, it's recently developed Rhino Shine Ultra, which renews the look of most polyurethane spray-in bedliners. Available in five standard colors - black, graphite gray, flame red, emerald green, and indigo blue - Rhino Shine Ultra is also available in a clear version that gives shine to any spray-in bedliner. According to Bharat Haik, Rhino Linings' director of technical services, Rhino Shine Ultra was developed to work in conjunction with the polyurethane formulation to treat the surface of the bedliner where all the UV damage occurs, without sacrificing the non-skid surface. The Rhino Shine Ultra, which is pigmented to add extra color back into the bedliner, attaches itself to the surface of the 'liner. The application of Rhino Shine Ultra is a simple do-it-yourself process. The company not only sells the product individually, but also offers a complete application kit to make the job easier. The kit includes a special prep wash to clean and prepare the lining, masking tape to protect the truck's paint, latex gloves, and a paint brush. For those truck owners looking to rejuvenate their truck's bedliner without the elbow grease, most Rhino Linings USA dealers will do the job for you. We followed a typical Rhino Shine Ultra application at the company's San Diego headquarters. The whole process took less than two hours and is highlighted in the following photos. The results were dramatic. If your spray-in bedliner is starting to look a little weathered, check into Rhino Lining's Rhino Shine Ultra.
