Let's face it -- the cargo light that's supposed to help you see what you're putting into or taking out of the pickup bed isn't much help. It's mounted above the rear window and doesn't really provide that much light. 4z Products' automatic cargo light mounts under the bed rail inside the bed, to the side of the tailgate. It lights when the tailgate is open and shuts off when it's closed. There's also an override switch for when the tailgate needs to stay open for extended periods of time.
