1965 Chevy C10 Buildup - Street Customs 65 C10 Build

Last month we introduced you to Mike Dillon's rusty 'ol '65 Chevy C10 project truck. Forty-plus years of use and abuse hadn't been kind to the workhorse, but thankfully Mike entrusted his project in the hands of Jim Smith and the crew at Street Customs and Restorations, located in Mooresville, North Carolina. Jim and his team tore into the classic Bow Tie and replaced each worn-out component with an upgraded, race-ready aftermarket part. Just a short month ago, you witnessed the truck snowball into a buildup supported by a Jim Myer's Racing frame, powered by a GM Performance Parts Ram Jet 502ci big-block, and shifted by a Tremec five-speed. This month, take a look at how Jim customized the interior, tricked out the body with a #3 inspired paintjob, and continued the tradition of paying close attention to each detail.   |   1965 Chevy C10 Buildup rendering Don't miss next month's issue, when we'll quit teasing you with the buildup pics and finally give you the full feature. We guarantee you'll be impressed and after checking it out, agree with us that this C10 is one of the nation's finest.
