QuestionToday i was offered a settlement by my legal rep and ins compamy... It was an insult as a result of the auto accident i now have a pinched nerve in my low back. I have to go for injections and therapy. It has been over two yrs since the accident and the dr said because of the two yrs i am not eligible for surgery. The legal rep said there is no negotiating the offer and take it or leave it. Then i call my dr only to find out that neither the legal rep nor ins company have requested any type of medical reprts from thr dr. Therefore they made me an offer with out having all the facts. I dont knoe what to do. I am a young mother and wife and have great difficulty attending to reg daily routines... Please help.

From your description, you have serious and long term injuries. Immediately, you need to find your self a competent, honest, skilled personal injury attorney to work on your behalf. That attorney will need to take whatever steps are necessary to take over your case, nonetheless, I strongly recommend you do this.
You mention "legal rep". I assume this person is working under the auspices of an attorney. If you are so inclined, you might also want to consider contacting your local Bar to report the activities. Possibly a Bar complaint is in order.
But first and foremost, get yourself a competent and reputable attorney. "Taking or leaving it" and failure to secure medical records is nothing short of outrageous. You need help, and you need it now. Disregard anything they have told you and allow your new attorney to sort this out.
