Auto Insurance Claims: insurance denied me, dodge truck, body man

Hi my issue is my 2002 dodge truck was starting to rust so we sent it to a guy who has a garage and claimed to be a body man who has experience  well after 8 weeks we had to go get our truck to find it was damaged more than it was when we took it in. Took it to another body shop who said theres was 6000 dollars worth of damage so do i have a claim to my insurance they told me nothing they can do what do you think i live in ohio.

In this case you will likely need to file a law suit against the 1st body shop for damaging your vehicle. You will need to take numerous photos of the vehicle. You will also ned to bring the estimator from the second shop to court to testify as to what is wrong, what they will do th repair it and what it will cost.

The damage was not caused by a collision nor an an "act of god", however, it could be considered to be a form of vandalizm. You might try to file a claim on that basis. But don't count on that working. You will likely need to file the law suit to get anywhere.
