Auto Insurance Claims: car crash, small PD claim in Massachusetts

Question
Im a senior in massachusetts who got in a minor accident on the way to school today. whiile everyone was stopped waiting to turn into the school, i hit a stopped car in front of me doing about 5-10 miles an hour. The car i hit then was pushed into the car in front of it.
The car in front of me happened to be one of my teachers. He got out of his car and talked to me, there was no damage to the truck he hit and no damage to either his rear bumper or my front bumper so he told me to go ahead into school.
In the parking lot i went over to his car to see if it was okay. He only had a very minor dent on his hood. He said we would take care of it later and it wasnt a big ddeal.
No one was hurt in this accident but i was wondering if my insurance or his will be paying for this? No one was hurt

Answer
Troy,

In Massachusetts, when there isn't a serious injury, then the person who is legally liable will have their insurance company pay for the damages.

Your anwswer:  your insurance will pay for any damages you caused if you will call them and file the claim, and then provide the claim information to your teacher.  It shouldn't be a big deal, and will probably not even affect anybody's insurance rates (although you might call your insurance company and check on this).

    I hope this helps!
